Kartwheel Kids has a rolling enrollment. Registration is available online. Once enrolled for the 2024-2025 season School Age Gymnastics, Stars Gymnastics, Tumbling, and Team programs are automatically enrolled monthly from September 2024 thru June 2025. Pre-School Gymnastics programs are automatically enrolled on a session basis with 4 sessions per school year. Kartwheel Kids age groups are based on a child’s age as of August 31, 2024.
Summer weekly programs require a 50% deposit upon registration. Tuition balances will be charged on June 1, 2024. Summer session class payments are due in full at time of registration. Deposit & tuition payments are non- refundable. Makeup classes will be offered based on availability.
If your child has a fever of 100.3 or above, sore throat, cough, congestion or any other signs of illness within 24 hours of class they are asked not to come to Kartwheel Kids. Students and families are asked to follow the CDC guidelines with regards to quarantine and isolation COVID-19 regulations.
Makeup classes can be requested and are based on availability. Makeup classes are only offered for active students. Makeup classes are scheduled with the front desk or by e-mail request at michelle@kkidsgym.com. Only one makeup class can be scheduled at a time. There are no makeup classes allowed during the first week of a pre-school session and the last week of a pre-school session. Monthly makeup classes can be requested from 9/16/24 thru 6/7/25. Makeup classes are not guaranteed and expire two months after a class has been missed. Makeup classes do not transfer into future seasons.
If the decision is made for your child not to continue at Kartwheel Kids a cancellation form must be filled out and either e-mailed or handed to the gym office administrator or gym owner. Sending an e-mail or giving a verbal notice of cancellation will not cancel your child from the program. The form is required. To avoid additional tuition charges this must occur three weeks prior to the beginning of a new pre-school gymnastics session or the 15th of the month for all Mighty Mites, Stars Gymnasts & Tumbling students. Refunds will not be issued for late cancellation notices.
Parents may view our program from the lobby area. There are NO parents or siblings allowed in the gym area (exception: Move with Me). The staff at Kartwheel Kids asks that there is no talking, coaching or re-directing your child during their class. It is important for the children to focus on their class and instructor. This is for the safety of the students. Bathroom facilities for non class members are located in the common area at 34 Hayden Rowe.
Athletic attire is required. It is recommended that gymnastics students wear a leotard or fitted lycra clothing. Socks and footed tights are prohibited for all programs. Hair must be tied back off the face for both boys and girls. Bracelets, necklaces and wrist workout devices are prohibited. Medical jewelry and stud earrings are allowed.
There is no food allowed in the gym or viewing areas. Advise your child to hydrate prior to class as formal water breaks are not scheduled during 45 minute and 1 hour programs. Those participating in a 90 minute or 2 hour class programs will have scheduled water breaks.
Parking is available in the front of the building.
In general when the Hopkinton Public Schools are closed due to poor weather conditions Kartwheel Kids opens at noon. Updated alert emails will be sent. If the weather is poor all day please check the website for continued updates. We will do our best to reschedule canceled classes however this is not guaranteed
